The Art Exhibition of work of local Friends earlier this month had to be postponed because of illness. This will now take place on November 4th at the Colchester Meeting House on November 4th from 10am to 4pm. It is being organised by the Quaker Saturday Art group. More detail will be available soon on what and how you can submit works to this event. It will be for paintings, photos or textile work that is framed, no more than two pieces per person plus up to four unframed but mounted and film covered for a folio collection, Light refreshments will be served (tea coffee, biscuits type) during the day.
There could be craft stalls if anyone could run them (cakes are a craft). Let me know if you are interested in this and we will discuss details. There will not be the usual Quaker sale stalls.
Any profit made will be for Britain Yearly Meeting who do so much on our behalf and support us Local Meetings in our work.
